a. From Jobseekers:

  • Name, email address, mobile number
  • Resume and profile photo
  • Work experience, education, skills
  • Location preferences, job preferences

b. From Employers:

  • Company name, domain, address
  • Employer name, email, and role
  • Job postings and applicant interactions

c. Automatically Collected Data:

  • IP address, browser details, device information
  • Cookies, usage patterns, and log data

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is collected for the following purposes:

  • To register and manage your account
  • To display jobs, profiles, and dashboards
  • To match jobseekers with relevant openings
  • To allow employers to manage applications and schedule interviews
  • To improve our website functionality and security
  • To send OTPs, notifications, or service-related emails
  • To comply with legal obligations or enforcement requests

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with:

  • Verified employers (jobseeker applications only)
  • Third-party services for core functionalities as described in Section 4.
  • Legal or government authorities when required by law.

4. Third-Party Integrations

To enhance our services, we integrate with certain third-party applications.

a. Google Sign-In:

Jobseekers may log in using Google Sign-In. By doing so, you authorize us to collect your name, email address, and optionally, your Google profile picture to simplify the registration process. We do not receive or store your Google password.

b. Zoom Integration for Interview Scheduling:

For employers, we offer an integration with Zoom to facilitate interview scheduling. If you choose to connect your Zoom account to our platform, we will collect and store the following data from Zoom via their secure OAuth 2.0 protocol:

  • OAuth Access Token
  • OAuth Refresh Token
  • Token Expiry Date

This data is used for the sole purpose of allowing our application to create job interview meetings in your Zoom account on your behalf, an action which you initiate. We do not access, store, or share any other personal information from your Zoom account, such as your profile details, contacts, or the content of your meetings.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account remains active or as required for legal, accounting, or reporting purposes. You may delete your account at any time, upon which your personal data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with our data retention schedule.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies to maintain sessions, measure usage, and improve user experience. You may control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Your Data Rights and Choices

As a user, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data stored on our platform. To exercise these rights:

  • Access and Correction: You can review and update most of your profile information directly from your dashboard at any time.
  • Data Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account by contacting our support team.
  • Managing Third-Party Integrations: You have direct control over data shared via third-party integrations. You can revoke our application's access to your Google or Zoom account at any time directly from the security settings within your respective Google or Zoom account. For Zoom, this can be done by:
    1. Logging in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
    2. Navigating to Manage > Installed Apps.
    3. Finding our application and selecting **Uninstall**.
    Uninstalling the application will prevent any future access and serves as a formal request to delete all associated authentication data from our systems.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption and secure authentication methods (like OTP and MFA), to safeguard your data. The Zoom OAuth tokens we store are protected at rest by the infrastructure-level encryption of our secure PostgreSQL database. However, no system is 100% secure.

9. Children's Privacy

Our platform is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
